Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.)

All parents with children in school are members of the P.T.A.
The aims of the association are:

To encourage close links between home, school and community.

To increase awareness of the activities of the school in the wider school community.

To organise functions and fundraising events to encourage active participation of parents and friends in the social life of the school and to encourage local people to visit and to support the school.

To raise money to support and extend school activities and enhance resources.
The PTA organises the regular Christmas Fair and other events such as sponsored events, social occasions, Fun Fitness and Easter competitions. The events organised raise a significant amount of money for the school but always require the help and support of committed and enthusiastic parents and friends.
All events require planning and organising and all offers of help are warmly welcomed. We are always looking for new fundraising ideas. Please become actively involved in the PTA. All meetings are advertised on the classroom notice boards and in the weekly newsletter.
