Pupils are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities. At present they can choose from dodgeball; table tennis; juggling & frisbee; netball; football; basketball; hockey; rugby; cheerleading; zumba; streetdance; choir; windband; spelling and drama clubs; creative writing and school newspaper..... to name but a few.
The House system is very important at Windsor Park Middle School. It provides the framework for pastoral care of pupils, encourages participation in sporting and cultural extra-curricular activities and promotes leadership development. Inter-house competitions include: Cross Country, Football, Hockey, Netball, Sponsored Quiz, Team Cuisine, House kitchen. Strong house loyalty and good-natured rivalry dominate the school atmosphere.
